Our Program
Our Redeemer Preschool is an integral part of the ministry of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. The preschool is ready to help your child meet their spiritual, intellectual, physical and social needs. Children may enter the Twos Program any time after their second birthday. There is a separate building for Twos. They do not have to be potty trained. Children must be three years old by September 1 and fully potty trained to attend the Threes Program and be four years old by September 1 to attend the PreK Program. Do not send your child in pull-ups. Children whose birthdays fall after the deadline may still be accepted at the decision of the preschool director.
What We Do
During a typical day your child will learn math and reading readiness. They will discover more about the world, and will expand their creative minds with a variety of hands on experiences. Your child will grow in his/her faith relationship with Jesus. Our goals are that your child will:
- grow in showing love to God and to others,
- relate to children and to adults individually and in group situations,
- develop a positive self-image,
- grow in understanding of the world around him,
- grow in the ability to use language to communicate with others,
- learn to express himself through a variety of media,
- develop large and small muscle coordination,
- and maintain a curiosity and love of learning.
Class Options
Classes are available for children that are two through five years old. Children may attend half day or full day classes 3 or 5 days a week.
Half day classes meet 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Full day classes meet 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
